BBC keeps with tradition, releases horribly photoshopped Doctor Who promo

The newest promotional poster for this year's Doctor Who Christmas special, "The Snowmen", has been released.







Synopsis from the BBC:
Starring Matt Smith as the Doctor and introducing Jenna-Louise Coleman as Clara, his new companion, this year’s Christmas Special is called The Snowmen and follows their adventures as they battle the villainous Doctor Simeon (Richard E Grant) and his army of sinister snowmen.


The prequel to the episode and its official trailer were released November 17, for Children in Need. "The Snowmen" will air on BBC1 on Christmas Day.

What do you think, ONTD? I think it's horrible in that very special way only BBC photoshop can be, but I'm excited to meet Clara.

Right? Like idk. At least Rose had a really solid story of her own outside of being a love interest.

She started out as a directionless girl from a council estate with no A-levels and then she meets the Doctor, discovers what she wants to do with her life (traveling and saving people), and then becomes a pretty badass hero in her own right.

River's story is so complicated and nonsensical and it's so completely wrapped up in the Doctor. I can't.
