BBC keeps with tradition, releases horribly photoshopped Doctor Who promo

The newest promotional poster for this year's Doctor Who Christmas special, "The Snowmen", has been released.

Synopsis from the BBC:
Starring Matt Smith as the Doctor and introducing Jenna-Louise Coleman as Clara, his new companion, this year’s Christmas Special is called The Snowmen and follows their adventures as they battle the villainous Doctor Simeon (Richard E Grant) and his army of sinister snowmen.

The prequel to the episode and its official trailer were released November 17, for Children in Need. "The Snowmen" will air on BBC1 on Christmas Day.

What do you think, ONTD? I think it's horrible in that very special way only BBC photoshop can be, but I'm excited to meet Clara.

lol. I do and I don't.

I don't because I like JLC.

But I do because I will love rolling around in the hypocrisy of some people.

IDG why everyone hated Martha, she was awesome tho RTD was hellbent on her being constantly infatuated with the Doctor which kinda hurt the character imo

I disagree.

The crush on the Doctor gave Martha a place to start from so that she could grow.

Like, the Doctor was grieving Rose. So it made sense to give Martha a storyline that didn't necessitate the Doctor being emotionally present for her.

One of Martha's best moments is her "getting out" speech and uh, that speech wouldn't have happened or at least it wouldn't have been nearly as impactful if she DIDN'T have the crush on the Doctor.

I always felt her crush on the Doctor was out of character. She was otherwise such a pragmatic, practical person I don't really buy her giving that feeling the energy to grow.
