Boy Meets World fans, meet the best news you’ll hear all day.
TVLine has learned exclusively that Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel have officially signed on to reprise their roles as Cory Matthews and Topanga Lawrence in the red-hot Disney Channel pilot Girl Meets World.
The potential sequel series (which TVLine first told you about earlier this month) picks up more than a decade after Boy Meets World ended its ABC run and finds Cory and Topanga happily married and raising their 13-year-old daughter, Riley (from whose point of view the story is told).
The pilot is still in the very early stages of development with Boy Meets World creator and executive producer Michael Jacobs at the helm.
A nationwide casting search is underway for the role of Riley.

So it will be a female in her late teens,playing a preteen,will flirt with one or two guys of color but will always choose the douchebag white bread asshole who spends more time looking at himself in the mirror than actually paying attention to her,will probably cheat on her multiple times but she'll always go back to him because no matter how attractive and smart a girl is,they always feel incomplete if they're not dating the guy all the other girls want. She'll have a couple of best friends,most likely one male and one female,possibly one minority, who are "sort of ~dorks~" and obviously like eachother but dont realize they like eachother until the last season right before the show gets canceled. She'll have a weird annoying neighbor(Mr. Feeny wouldnt work out because he actually carried on deep serious conversations with the kids about real life issues,sometimes controversial,something that's pretty much not allowed on Disney shows). And at some point,her parents will pop out a baby and ~her whole world will change~. Then as the teen actress gets into her early 20s,she'll release Disney friendly albums about being yourself and having your first crush,star in a few Disney movies,and then the show will get canceled because the actress will grow up and want to experience grown up things irl and parents will flip their fucking shit,just like they did with Miley. This is only if the show even lasts for more than one season.
Tl;dr NO FUCKING THANK YOU. Some things need to be left alone.
