ikr? I was so amped up for this season because of Woodbury, but they pretty much screwed everything. When I was reading this part in the books, I thought it was awesome but it's not having as much of an impact on the TV.
Also, my boyfriend (who refuses to read the comics) is getting tired of me saying "well, this was much better in the comic."
As soon as they got Maggie in that room, I changed the channel because I thought for sure they were going to recreate the scene from the comics. So glad they didn't go there.
totally. I remember reading it while working on an Artificial Intelligence project. We were in a study room and I'd keep saying "OMFG THIS IS SO AWESOMELY BRUTAL!" and everyone staring at me. It was an awesome scene.
It was on issue 33, I believe. Basically: after being brutally raped, she gets free and goes to the Gov for her revenge. She catches him with his little pet walker, they fight and she:
bites off his neck knocks him unconscious, binds him he wakes up she drills holes into him with an electric drill Rips his nails off with pliers Chops one of his arms off (poetic justice, since he did the same to Rick) Cauterizes the wound. He passes out. When he wakes up, you see her pulling a spoon out of his ass. She uses that spoon to take one of his eyes out.
And then the Gov's men come look for him, she flees. But that's it. And it's basically, the best revenge ever.
it's why I've put off watching the show for as long as I could bc I didn't want to see that scene onscreen.
