Fucking seriously! I actually kinda hate that she & the Governor hooked up, because it's playing out like 'that crazy slut Andrea, she always bangs evil guys and makes everything worse!' since she slept with Shane too and all. Like, yeah, we know the Gov is horrifyingly bad news, but she doesn't. And I like Michonne, but I feel like her suspicion of him/Woodbury is kind of unreasonable--like, she's obviously right, but she doesn't have enough information to be so, if that makes sense. IDK, it just seems like they're making Andrea look bad the way they made Lori look bad, with all the "I know I'm a shitty wife" crap. >______________>
I don't necessarily WANT her to die but if someone has to die next week, she's near the top of my list of those I'd throw to the walkers...
I just find her storylines to be really boring this season once she got to the town. I get why she's doing what she's doing but it doesnt make me want to watch her sex around with the Governor.
I think I just don't understand WHY she's so trusting of him. I get she gravitates towards alpha males, but she was always somewhat cautious. She gave up her ally for the guy she met days before. I dunno... its just strange.
I like to look at Andrea's role as, like, everyone else at Woodbury. That's how they see The Governor. They're using a character we know to show that. A lot of the people there have no clue what's actually going on there. Andrea is one of the people. I guess she knows more than the others, but she's not seeing The Governor force Maggie to take her shirt off. Or killing innocent soldiers. Once she finds out about that stuff, though, I have no doubt she'll do the right thing.
Wow @ that almost-rape scene last night--not that it's OOC for the Governor, I guess, but it really would've pissed me off if he had gone through with it. It would just feel exploitative on a show like this, esp. since they're not great with women in general. :\\\\\\\ I did enjoy Glenn's badass moment, however.
As soon as they got Maggie in that room, I changed the channel because I thought for sure they were going to recreate the scene from the comics. So glad they didn't go there.
I just can't with Andrea right now. I do acknowledge that she still doesn't know the extent of the governor's fucked up mentality but I refuse to believe she's somehow missed all of the horrible things he's done and the calls he's made. And like someone said before, the fact that he trusts Merle should alert her to the fact that something is wrong with him mentally.
So glad that Glenn and Maggie got out relatively okay.
And I can't with the people that don't understand why Michonne didn't just hand over all of her info last night. Information is valuable and she needs to use it to her advantage.
Oh really? This is news to me but I avoided tumblr last night bc I had to watch the late showing.
Wtf is that logic? What did they expect her to do? Anyone in her position would've done the same thing. That's quite possibly the shittiest reason to hate on a character.
As I slowly venture into The Walking Dead fandom, I've discovered that a lot of them are awful. Some of the shit they say... they are not a fans of women. Tons Andrea hate, Lori hate, Carol hate, Michonne hate.
The only problem I had with Maggie giving up the location is that I wish it were Glenn. I think when he saw Maggie walk in topless, that should of been the moment he said, "It's the prison."
Merle started off with their group; does that make them automatically untrustworthy? Also Michonne was pushing it last night. Rick offered her medical help and food and she was like, i didn't ask for your help. I would have threw her and her shit back over the fence.
some people on tumblr are fucking disgusting. someone was basically saying that it should be Michonne and not Maggie because Michonne can handle "getting her ass raped".
WTF?? no one should be raped and i'm glad they didn't do it.
and what does everyone think is going to happen with darryl and merle? i hope darryl kills that motherfucker but we all know it is not going to go smoothly.
I think either Merle will side with Daryl and the Governor will kill him, or Merle will try to kill Daryl(or Rick, depending on who he connects with first) and either Daryl or Rick will kill Merle.
Either way, I don't totally see Merle making it out of it...
I don't think Daryl will side with Merle but he won't want them to kill him. I just want Merle dead and I don't care who does it although if it's Rick or Michonne doing the deed I will be very happy.
The preview after the episode was over when Rick grabbed Daryl and said he needed him made me worried. There was wavering in his eyes and that is making me so damned scared for Daryl. Merle might try to manipulate him like Glenn or use the big brother thing over him.
I think Daryl is going to be somewhat disappointed to find Merle alive. I just picture Daryl being secretly somewhat relieved that he no longer had Merle dragging him around trying to teach him to "be a man" and act a certain way. I don't Daryl ever got to be himself until Merle was gone. Once he no longer had that influence, he blossomed. So with Merle back, I think Daryl will struggle with reverting back to who he was and staying who he is.
But ultimately, he'll choose the people who always accepted him. It wouldn't shock me if Daryl kills Merle to save Rick at the end of the season.
It makes sense for Andrea's character to take the path she's currently on. She's lost everyone she's loved, come close to suicide several times, and doesn't even know what the believe in anymore. Michonne referred to the Governor as a "Jim Jones" type last night and it fits 100%. He's giving Andrea a false sense of hope and to her it's the greatest thing she has right now. She thinks she's safe and now has many people in Woodbury who will care about her, especially the Governor.
Well... I hated Shane and Andrea together, but that cock-grabbing scene was kind of awesome xD Shane was... intense, I guess. and the Governor has a certain charm, so I see why she would be attracted to them.
I still would've fled Woddbury the first chance I got, though.
Exactly! I do get a little mad at Andrea for letting Michonne walk away like that, but I get mad at Michonne too, for not articulating more clearly what her problem with the seemingly perfect town was.
However I can't blame Andrea for wanting to be safe and clean and well fed for a change! I would have jumped on Woodbury as well - although not the Governor. He's doughy.
if the photo we see is supposed to look as PS'd as it does because in the novels we find out that the gov is not really Philip, but he's Brian, Philip's older brother. When P died, B had a breakdown and totally took over his rapist brother's identity after being, well, a loser his entire life. TV is probably not following that canon, but it def. informs my viewing of the governor.
But Andrea...I guess good dick makes you lose your mind.

The first few eps, it was the only ship I had besides Maggie and Glenn

it's why I've put off watching the show for as long as I could bc I didn't want to see that scene onscreen.

and also fuck people are angry at Maggie for giving up the prison.

I can't with the Maggie hate on tumblr right now, urgh
ugh I can't with all of the Maggie hate.
holy fuck i just shuddered
They are perfect together.
WTF?? no one should be raped and i'm glad they didn't do it.

B/C SHE ISNT. SHE SUX
so sweet. it's nice to see her softer side, though i'm so glad to have a bad ass girl on the show.
Either way, I don't totally see Merle making it out of it...
We need a prayer circle like yesterday, ya'll!
I would say what I want to happen but I've been saying it in every TWD post. I'm annoying myself lol.
But ultimately, he'll choose the people who always accepted him. It wouldn't shock me if Daryl kills Merle to save Rick at the end of the season.
