Yeah. In the past, when I came across really sexist women, I used to wish that someone would slut-shame or degrade them so that they could get a taste of their own medicine and learn a lesson.
But then I realized that this only keeps the cycle going. People like Chris Brown who have fucked up beliefs about women don't differentiate. He doesn't give a shit if you're a nice woman or a terrible one. The fact is, he thinks it's cool for him to slut-shame and to overpower you just on the basis that he's a dude and you're not.
When you excuse his sexism towards a woman you don't like, you excuse his sexism towards all women.
