Lindsay Lohan in Liz & Dick: The Best and Worst Moments

If you are reading this, it means your television has just finished showing you the Lifetime biopic Liz & Dick, starring Lindsay Lohan and Grant Bowler as Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. And you must have a lot of emotions.

It wasn't all bad, was it? There were definitely some shining moments during the 123 minutes of Lohan-ness, but unfortunately, those came with moments that may have given you pause. We present the best and worst moments from Liz & Dick:

I just cannotCollapse )

Michael Lohan On Lindsay Lohan’s Film Debut: Screw The Critics

The long-awaited premier of Lindsay Lohan as Elizabeth Taylor hit Lifetime Sunday evening after a barrage of criticism.

But daddy Michael Lohan tells RumorFix exclusively, “screw the critics.”

Although the father and daughter aren’t talking, he’s still defending her.

“Due to the content, I had to step away from some of the scenes,” Michael tells us, “but regardless of what some of these so called critics (who don’t have an ounce of talent in their bones) say, Lindsay proved that she is an amazing actress!”

He continues,”This was a different role for her at a different time of her life! Yet, she still has what it takes to be the Lindsay Lohan that is one of Hollywood’s top actresses! Just imagine.”

Wow, how bad was it?
theratwhispers 26th-Nov-2012 04:33 am (UTC)
I would put this on par with Monster A Go-Go and Red Zone Cuba. I watch b-movies for lols and love MST3K. I have sat through some of the worst of the worst, and this is right up there.

/b-movie fiend
ectypes 26th-Nov-2012 04:36 am (UTC)
MST3K should totally do this movie
peasantings 26th-Nov-2012 06:27 am (UTC)
Monster A Go-Go stomps on your heart though with that ending though. This was just kind of bland?
georgie_georgie 26th-Nov-2012 04:32 am (UTC)
worst movie ever.
I was hoping it would be a "so bad that it's good" movie but it was just terrible.
schexyschteve 26th-Nov-2012 04:33 am (UTC)
This list is not long enough
wonderwomanhero 26th-Nov-2012 04:33 am (UTC)
Are we talking Catwoman level horribleness, Swept Away level awfulness, or John Carter terribleness?
thesegoto11 26th-Nov-2012 04:35 am (UTC)
lol for a second there, I thought you meant Carter from ER
I was like wtf. I love him
babybeehive 26th-Nov-2012 06:18 pm (UTC)
Haha.. This was also my first thought..
judgmental 26th-Nov-2012 04:37 am (UTC)
I'm guessing all of those combined lbr sis
trinigren 26th-Nov-2012 04:38 am (UTC)
Gurl those are Oscar worthy compared to this mess. There was no plot. There were just scenes strung together with bad acting and worse dialogue.
dirkismyhomeboy 26th-Nov-2012 04:40 am (UTC)
Troll 2 level horribleness. Actually, Troll 2 was 200000000x better.
harborafternoon 26th-Nov-2012 04:42 am (UTC)
if any of those movies made any sense, they were better
redsprings 26th-Nov-2012 04:44 am (UTC)
John Carter wasn't even that bad tho
celtic_thistle 26th-Nov-2012 04:55 am (UTC)
Battlefield Earth level horribleness.
stormer1_1 26th-Nov-2012 04:56 am (UTC)
Catwoman tootin' caine.
peasantings 26th-Nov-2012 06:29 am (UTC)
It was about as boring as the endless "opening credits" to Manos: The Hands of Fate.
creatium 26th-Nov-2012 04:33 am (UTC)
What a terrible, terrible movie

Richard wants to playayy~
seanb814 26th-Nov-2012 04:34 am (UTC)
Helen Keller would have done better
autumn1234 26th-Nov-2012 05:35 am (UTC)
Awwwrite why are Helen Keller jokes taking over my internet today? I'm not even kidding. this is weird
trinigren 26th-Nov-2012 04:34 am (UTC)
The best would be the spine-death-cancer?-death combo.
realityvsdreams 26th-Nov-2012 04:35 am (UTC)
I feel like they just filmed a bunch of shit and tried to make it fit together

or tbh i zoned out about a million times so maybe it actually did make sense
dacrayzblaze1 26th-Nov-2012 04:51 am (UTC)
No. It didn't.
paparatti 26th-Nov-2012 05:51 am (UTC)
I bet with any reliable actress it would have been coherent, but they probably had tiny windows where she was present/sober enough to shoot.
hollis1975 26th-Nov-2012 03:03 pm (UTC)
it made NO sense.
ectypes 26th-Nov-2012 04:35 am (UTC)

autumn1234 26th-Nov-2012 05:37 am (UTC)
LOL SERIOUSLY DO DOCTORS ACTUALLY SAY THAT SHIT?
amor143x 26th-Nov-2012 04:35 am (UTC)
This movie was a mess. LILO wasn't the worst part about it. I liked her during all the When Harry Met Sally interview moments.
hershelwalker 26th-Nov-2012 04:42 am (UTC)
lol stop
b_billingsley 26th-Nov-2012 04:46 am (UTC)
Perfect response is perfect.
aubade_saudade 26th-Nov-2012 04:53 am (UTC)
darling i know yr trying to find a reason to keep yr icon, but you could enjoy her ironically and/or with awareness yet despite of it all without lowering yr standards so much you lose all discernment and start thinking EL James is a good writer and that Franco is a Renaissance man

celtic_thistle 26th-Nov-2012 04:55 am (UTC)
lmao now sis
autumn1234 26th-Nov-2012 05:38 am (UTC)
idg the replies to this? Like, in your opinion LiLo wasn't the worst part, but you still agree it's a bad movie... huh

Also, I liked the interview-y parts myself.
peasantings 26th-Nov-2012 06:29 am (UTC)
I thought she was good in the interview parts too at spots as misguided as that idea was in general.
imnotasquirrel 26th-Nov-2012 04:35 am (UTC)
i missed this... was it as good as cyber seduction/mother may i sleep with danger/student seduction??
redaodai 26th-Nov-2012 04:36 am (UTC)
I like the one with Candace Cameron and Fred Savage... although it ended sadly.
imnotasquirrel 26th-Nov-2012 04:40 am (UTC)
NO ONE WOULD TELL!

i just found the full movie for that on youtube the other day... i was on a youtube movie downloading spree lol.
foxxywith2xs 26th-Nov-2012 06:06 am (UTC)

honey_child 26th-Nov-2012 04:38 am (UTC)
LMAO my mum was a total stan for "Mother May I Sleep With Danger" when I was a kid.
harborafternoon 26th-Nov-2012 04:43 am (UTC)
if any of those made any sense, they were better
aubade_saudade 26th-Nov-2012 04:54 am (UTC)

shanny_w 26th-Nov-2012 07:19 am (UTC)
Not a classic.
xcollsangelx 26th-Nov-2012 08:37 am (UTC)
Student Seduction was flawless and you know it!

hoot 26th-Nov-2012 01:34 pm (UTC)
My favorite is the one where Kirsten Dunst is a pregnant 15 year old and she's a major bitch the whole time. Hilarious.

And then there was one about a kid who found out he was adopted and then found his biological family and camped out in their backyard spying on them? idk I watched it when I was like 13 but it made no sense and was awesome.
my_drama_only 26th-Nov-2012 04:35 am (UTC)
It was painful. Like when your gym teacher makes your class go on a run painful.
distant_lines 26th-Nov-2012 04:42 am (UTC)
Ugh we used to have days where we had to run a mile in gym class in high school. Torture! I was such a fat lazy teenager though.
rebeccamars 26th-Nov-2012 05:36 am (UTC)
We had to do it often :( once I asked my gym teacher if we were running the mile and she said no. Then she announced to everyone "Okay guys two miles!"
And she stole my sharpies. Never forget.
hoot 26th-Nov-2012 01:35 pm (UTC)
To run the mile in middle school we had to run 21 laps around the gym, and since the teacher never counted I'd always run like 12 and say I was done. He thought I was running the mile in 8 minutes and always tried to convince me to join the track team lol.
vonlisbon 26th-Nov-2012 02:39 pm (UTC)
lol I was just lazy as shit and hated running, so I'd walk the whole time and piss off the teacher by making him stand out there for an extra like 20 minutes. wutevz bitch I don't run unless somethin's chasin' me.
kidviciousdonna 26th-Nov-2012 05:26 am (UTC)
But at least with my runs, I could fake asthma and get out of it...
zness 26th-Nov-2012 04:36 am (UTC)
lol my dad asked how the movie ended and when i told him, he said 'well that quickly escalated'

so close to the anchorman GIF, bless him
judgmental 26th-Nov-2012 04:36 am (UTC)
Couldn't join the watch party bc I was writing a paper.

I'm guessing it was a trainwreck, just as expected.
bloolikejazz 26th-Nov-2012 04:36 am (UTC)
someone needs to do a "lowlights" of this movie cause judging by the comments "highlights" wouldn't be really applicable
piratesswoop 26th-Nov-2012 04:42 am (UTC)
r u a hamburg fan
bloolikejazz 26th-Nov-2012 04:50 am (UTC)
why do you ask?
