Hey, remember the cinematic gem "From Justin to Kelly"? We're guessing Kelly Clarkson wishes she didn't! Like Kelly, plenty of stars have had some career "turkeys" -- and we don't mean the delicious, Thanksgiving kind! In the gallery below, we shine a light on the pop diva who should've never tried acting, the folk artist who thought she was a poet, one of the worst AOL Sessions ever and much, more more.

Kelly Clarkson in 'From Justin to Kelly'
"American Idol"s original winner and runner up starred in this ill-conceived flick that both IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes gave one star. Ouch! Of her movie debut, Kelly told Time: "I knew when I read the script it was going to be real, real bad, but when I won, I signed that piece of paper and I could not get out of it. Two words: contractually obligated."

Britney Spears' Restaurant Nyla
Named for BritBrit's two "favorite places" -- New York and Louisiana -- the pop star's foray into the restaurant biz lasted about six months! With debt piling up, the restaurant tried to overhaul its menu in a last-ditch effort to keep the place open. But it was just too late to save the problem-plagued eatery. At the time of it's closing, Spears even released a statement to the New York Times claiming she had no involvement in the restaurant's day-to-day operations.

Jewel's Book of Poetry
Not too many copies of this book are still up for sale, and perhaps with good reason. After its release, poet Kim Carlin told the Baltimore Sun that the collection of prose was like "the journal ramblings of a 14-year-old girl who needs therapy." However, many of Jewels fans did jump to her defense and flooded sites like Amazon.com with positive reviews. Silver lining?
And, for your viewing pleasure, a sample from her poetry book.
Sausages
While leaving the airport,
a gypsy woman stole my luggage.
She wore a rice paper mask over her eyes.
A mole showed neatly on her chin, hairless.
She laughed while sausages
fell from her pockets in heavy shivers.
I hope she misses them sorely.

Mariah Carey in 'Glitter'
Mariah Carey's 2001 flick is another member of the IMDB "one-star review" club. But if you ask Mariah, it wasn't the quality of the movie that made it a flop. "That movie was released on September 11th, 2001 -- could there be a worse day for that movie to come out? I don't think so," Mimi said after the fact. "I don't even know that many people who even saw the movie so I don’t think it's the worst thing ever done."

Lindsay Lohan's Singing Career

Christina Aguilera's 'Bionic' Album
Expectations were high for Christina's 2010 album. Unfortunately, the collection of songs was widely panned by critics AND fans. But don't tell Xtina is was a flop! "I can proudly say [Bionic] was ahead of its time, to be honest. It wasn’t so commercialized. You had to really be a music lover, be a true fan of music and the love of being open to really appreciate that record. It's just a special piece in my body of work that will forever live on. The older the record gets the more people will come to appreciate it actually and check it out."

Kelly Osbourne's Madonna Remake
Kelly Osbourne is hilarious as the co-host of E!'s "Fashion Police" -- but one of her first attempts at a singing career is slightly cringe-worthy. However, Kel's less-than-stellar remake of the Madonna classic might have actually helped her career. Years after being released, Madge made Kelly the spokesperson for her Material Girl clothing line!

Yes I'm sure in a 9/11-free parallel universe, Glitter achieved massive success.
The movie itself is awful, but awful in a hilarious way. I own that shit, it's fantastic for bad movie nights.
the Glitter ALBUM came out on 9/11. the film wasn't released until the 21st. it was originally set to be released Labor Day weekend, but was delayed due to her TRL-meltdown in late August.
