I was so glad the show didn't go down the "Look at how evil the Governor is! He rapes women" route though I'm still side-eying the threat.

And I hope Carol survives the finale or I will riot.

i think carol will survive cause what would be the point of bringing her back for one ep just to have her die for real in the following one...i would only expect that kind of fuckery from like, ryan murphy, or the dude who fucked up gossip girl

The threat was plenty. It really pissed me off that they even had that in there. They didn't need it, they have fucking ZOMBIES. CAN WE NOT with the rape stuff??

But those things happen in real life too, and TWD is meant to be a realistic (aside from zombies ofc) in-look at humans and their highest and lowest points.
And I'm going to assume you haven't read the comics? Believe me, there's way worse shit in them.
