I'm pretty sure my Queen Britney Spears wouldn't mind if I wrote this here.
So I finally did it, I told my best straight male friend that I have been feeling something for him for the last couple of months/years and, even though our friendship was weird, like something deeper than friendship, he rejected me. Gracefully, tho. He says that he doesn't care and doesnt' judgme and that he is happy for meeting me in the first place and he wants me to be his friend for a long long time.

I'm a mess rn. Also, that came just after he confessed to me that he has feelings for a mutual friend who has a boyfriends, who minutes earlier told me that she has feelings for him and that she wants to kiss him and tell him everything.

That's what I want the most, to move on. I went on a few dates with some other boys and girls, but all I could thought about was him :/

That sucks, bb, I'm sorry. Even if he rejected you, you can start to move past it and you won't have to dwell on it anymore.

tbh I give you major props for telling him. I could never do that. Just look forward and instead of thinking "what if?", continue being good friends with him. If he put you down gently that really says a lot about him as a friend.

I'm currently battling something similar but with MY BOSS. Yup. No way I'm gonna admit that but we're taking a swing dance class together and I invited him out for a drink after. I have no idea if he likes ME in that way but I figure I'll try to hint around it without directly saying it. :/

I dealt with something similar earlier this year (and the guy also let me down gently)...it sucks but you'll get through it and we're better friends than we were before now.

It kind of sucks because I still sort of have feelings for him but it's complicated but I'm glad I told him because otherwise I'd still be wondering ~what if~, you know?

Well, I know my feelings just won't die overnight, but I had to let it out so I could start moving on. Good to know you are better friends :)

Lmao I've done that. Props to you for doing it but looking back I wish I hadn't done it. I knew very well that he was straight and that there would be zero possibility.
