How was your Friday night, ONTD?

try a kids size 5! kids shoes run wider and a kids 5 is the same length-wise as a womens 7. i sell shoes so i know haha

but wouldn't the styles be really different? I'd want something cute occasionally and I think even kid's clothing would be more suited to me than shoe sizes. I've never thought about this option before though. :o

it depends what shoes/brands you're looking at. a lot of brands have kids shoes in similar, if not identical styles to adults (e.g. toms, converse, etc.) i'm sure if you look around you can find cute styles! and yeah i never thought about kids sizes either till i worked retail. now i buy kids sizes if i want something cheaper. for example:

this kids shoe: http://www.uggaustralia.com/kids-comfortable-dakota-slippers/5296,default,pd.html?dwvar_5296_color=RAVN&start=4&q=dakota

is identical to this shoe: http://www.uggaustralia.com/womens-dakota-sheepskin-slippers/5612,default,pd.html?dwvar_5612_color=IND&start=1&q=dakota

but $20 cheaper!

ahhhhhhhhh.

hmm, I'll really have to look. but the shops that I like looking at seem to never have nice kids' shoes without them being obvious that they're for kids. :(

would a 4 be a size 6 then or is it just that?
thruyourveins 25th-Nov-2012 05:48 am (UTC)
yup! a 3=5, 4=6, 5=7, and a 6=8 (and a 6 is the biggest kids size)
