I stayed in yesterday, just like I wanted. It was my mom's birthday, so I gave her her present (two new Hello Kitty travel cups... she's into Hello Kitty immensely at the moment, so, yeah). I spent a lot of time playing my Wii U, SUper Mario Brothers U to be precise.
Then my aunt showed up with her son, her daughter-in-law and her granddaughter while my parents were out eating for mom's birthday, so I had to divert from playing the Wii U to entertain them. Sad. Came back, played some more, turned on Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale for the first time, quickly concluded that Smash Brothers is SO much better (though All-Stars is fun, don't get me wrong, it's just not as fun), fell asleep.
Pondering getting some more video games... I kinda want Ninja Gaiden for Wii U, and I'm PONDERING Zombie U, even though I don't like Survival Horror games, and that Square Enix game about the Asian crime stuff, Sleeping Dogs or whatever. I dunno.
I went to see Red Dawn with a friend of mine. We're in college, and everyone else in the theater was either a middle school boy or a parent chaperoning a group of middle school boys. We gave up halfway through and just started cracking up at how hilariously bad it was. We didn't even bother trying to be quiet.
Ngl, though, Josh Hutcherson was great. The other Josh sucked.
I'm not sure why everyone's talking an Oscar for Jennifer Lawrence for it. She was okay but...Bradley Cooper was outstanding. Hands down best part of the movie. Besides Robert De Niro but that's to be expected.
Yeah I wasn't as impressed by her either and I thought she handled the comedic elements much better than the dramatic. And Bradley Cooper really impressed me.
btw, what to do you say when you tell someone historical facts when they quote on the bible about history and they tell you, "keep your facts to yourself!" My mom said this too me today, fml.
I get that sometimes when I say I wanna interpret things in a historical context and my dad asks me to "see things in a biblical context too". Idk man, I just feel you right now...
Saw Argo this morning, and so glad I did. Such a great movie. Last night I watched Stand By Me for the first time. I don't know why it took me this long to see it.
It was a really great basic movie, and the music was great. It made me miss movies like that with kids experiencing adult situations or kid movies like The Goonies and Sandlot.
I'm gonna wake up early tomorrow to be one of the first 100 customers to World Market so I can get a Life of Pi bag and movie ticket. Hopefully ppl won't know about this deal.

Josh Peck is entirely too dramatic.

A football player mentioned how a former Klansman apologized for 'everything' after seeing him play.I'm not as irritated as I thought I would be.
