ikr? gwen had so much potential, and angel is truly fantastic, but they give her nothing to do other than be arthur's love interest/wife and morgana's puppet, like really now??
Right? The one thing I thought hoped might come from Elyan's episode was character development for Gwen, with her grief in conjunction with all that psychological torture she experienced with Morgana. I liked the theory that she's been convinced to turn against Arthur/her friends (rather than that she's simply been enchanted), but they haven't given her any moments of doubt or conflict! It's straight up YES, LET'S KILL ARTHUR NOW and I'm like what??
yes I completely agree. The premise was so promising, and I'm sure angel would have been fantastic playing psychologically tortured gwen, but instead what do we get? we get the exact same thing as season 3, except instead of it being morgana smirking in the corner it's gwen. like ugh. how many more times must they do this ~betrayer in camelot story arc.
