Photo Follow Up From The Thanksgiving Fight at Halle Berry's haus

While Gabriel Aubry has gone to ground following the dramatic Thanksgiving brawl, his love rival and opponent Olivier Martinez was spotted making an early-morning visit to the liquor store.

Martinez, 46, opted for a half-hearted disguise by wearing a cap, but was nevertheless prepared to face the photographers on his 'victory walk' - after apparently coming off better than Aubry in yesterday's fight.

Still, Olivier's hand appeared to have swelled some more overnight - and looked bloated and painful as he stopped by Gil Turner's Fine Wine & Spirits in Los Angeles on Friday.

Later on Friday Halle was snapped taking Nahla to see a show at the Nokia Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles.

Gabriel, 37, meanwhile, was pictured being whisked out of LAPD's Downtown jail in Los Angeles on Thursday night.

He had a contingency in place for the photographers, though, cowering from the flashbulbs under a blanket in the backseat of an SUV as he was driven away.

Bail Bondsman David Perez of David Perez Bail Bonds paid Aubry's $20,000 bail - before picking him up at around 6pm.

Aubry - father of Halle Berry's daughter Nahla - was charged with battery and taken into custody upon his discharge from hospital at around 3.30pm on Thursday - where he was treated for a broken rib and bruises to the face.

His booking sheets lists him as 6ft2 and weighing 180lbs.

The pictures emerged as fresh details of the horrific fight between Aubry and Martinez continued to unravel.

Nahla was apparently saved from witnessing the full brutality of the fight - after Halle rushed her inside the house as the two men started to face off, TMZ reports.

However it is unclear if she did witness some of the fight.

It was initially reported the brawl happened inside Halle's house - but it is now claimed the altercation played out in the large driveway, according to the website.

After Olivier said to Gabriel 'We have to move on,' the Canadian model is said to have retaliated and pushed the French actor and tried to punch him before a full blown fight broke out.

Gabriel and Halle - who split in 2010 - have been at odds ever since she tried to convince a judge to allow her to move to France with Nahla, a move which was recently blocked by the courts.

On Thursday a judge issued an emergency protective order in the wake of the melee - meaning Gabriel must stay 100 yards away from Halle, Olivier and Nahla.
Onlookers told TMZ the fight was 'brutal', with the website describing a blow-by-blow account of the melee.

Under cover: Gabriel Aubry hid his gangly frame under a blanket as he left jail on Thursday, hours after being charged with battery over a brawl with love rival Martinez

Making a getaway: The model's bail was posted by a bondsman, who collected Aubry in a white SUV

A source said: 'Olivier blocked [Gabriel's punch] and the punch struck him in the shoulder instead... Gabriel then pushed Olivier to the ground, a struggle ensued, ending when Olivier pinned Gabriel to the ground.'

Olivier performed a citizen's arrest on his love rival, before police were called to the scene and arrested Aubry for battery.

Meanwhile, Olivier also required hospital treatment - and arrived at the Cedars Sinai Hospital around an hour after Aubry.

The model-turned-actor was later pictured leaving the hospital, with Halle and Nahla in tow, and took the wheel of the car despite sporting a swollen hand, which he may have fractured during the fight.

I don't think you understand what the word instigate means. Here's a definition for you:

instigate: Incite someone to do something, esp. something bad.

No way Olivier went out there thinking he wasn't going to get some negative feedback from Gabriel. He instigated the whole thing, Gabriel just upped it to the violence level.

I know what it means , I don't need you to explain it to me :)

and once again , talking something that does not necessarily mean you are trying to get a rise out of someone.

Some adults are capable of having civilized conversations .....

No way Olivier went out there thinking he wasn't going to get some negative feedback from Gabriel. He instigated the whole thing, Gabriel just upped it to the violence level.

How do you know though?

He was quoted as telling Gabriel to move on from his child by Hale...I mean TMZ
brucelynn 24th-Nov-2012 03:06 am (UTC)
HmmT

OMG

THAT LIKE SOUNDS SO SKETCHY

I WILL WAIT TO GET ALL OF THE DETAILS

even if that was true , Gabriel through the first hit and even if he was in the right for what he did ... by law he was the aggressor ... because he assaulted Olivier.
beetlebums 24th-Nov-2012 03:07 am (UTC)
And Olivier is still the instigator for getting involved in something that he has no right to be involved in
brucelynn 24th-Nov-2012 03:09 am (UTC)
How did TMZ know he told Gab to move on from his child?

where is a rock solid transcript

do you have one?
beetlebums 24th-Nov-2012 03:11 am (UTC)
Since this is ontd and no one can read and THIS IS IN MY FUCKING POST

"After Olivier said to Gabriel 'We have to move on,' the Canadian model is said to have retaliated and pushed the French actor and tried to punch him before a full blown fight broke out."

There's your transcript boo
brucelynn 24th-Nov-2012 03:14 am (UTC)
Where is the source though? who said this? and is it rock solid evidence?

Sorry I am just .... you know trying to get the full story

it's what all of the cool kids are doing these days....
whataboutdasha 24th-Nov-2012 06:05 am (UTC)
hmm yeah but by saying 'we have to move on' maybe he was saying like we need to stop fighting and just do what's best for the child? Idk it's pretty vague imo
jeveuxmacaron 24th-Nov-2012 03:21 am (UTC)
sorry but even if he was getting involved verbally, gabriel has no right to start throwing punches. that's the adult reaction.
brucelynn 24th-Nov-2012 03:22 am (UTC)
Fuck logic sis !!

beetlebums 24th-Nov-2012 03:25 am (UTC)
Let me get this straight, if you had a child that your share custody with the father and he kept putting things out there in court that you have to deal with being investigated and nothing sticks so the next thing that comes out is that they're gonna take your child out of the country because his new gf/wife is from there, you win that move but you drop your kid off for the end of your time and the new gf/wife comes up to you ad starts shit talking you and tells you "you got to move on". What would be your reaction? There's a lot of holes in this story, as I stated in the lj cut, but why did Olivier have to talk to Gabriel?
paarycia 24th-Nov-2012 11:03 am (UTC)
Srsly, self-control, my people.

He was quoted as telling Gabriel to move on from his child by Hale

I've just said the same thing upthread but this is complete bullshit. He was quoted as saying "we need to move on". NOT "you need to move on from your child." Those are two completely different things. Pro-Gabriel people have interpreted that as Olivier telling him to move out of his child's life which is a ridiculous interpretation. It's vastly more likely - if he used those words - that he was approaching Gabriel in a conciliatory fashion to try and smooth things over.

Upping it up to violence is the only thing that matters. I'm not even sure why you are talking about who "instigated" it.
