My novel is female-centric sci-fi with a lot of social commentary. You can tell I plotted it out right before the election :P I'm going to convert it to a pdf and send it to whoever wants it so it can be improved/edited.

I'll probably be done by next Friday and I'll post a link to the pdf in FFAF :D

Ugh, I had a total meltdown last night, and it sucked. I feel like such a failure at school this semester because I'm not going to pass physics, and organic chemistry is really hard. We had a take-home test in chemistry this week, and I worked on it with classmates. It is so hard, and much of the material I copied from my classmates. I feel awful about it, but it's what I have to do to pass. I told my mom the test is difficult and I hope to get an A. She said, "Well, if you feel confident enough that you might get an A, then that means you understand it. It's not like you're copying off of your classmates". Her attempt at encouragement made me feel like an even bigger asshole.

Then my mom told me that my great-uncle has been diagnosed with stomach cancer. He's one of my favorite relatives, and I'm devastated. I thought he'd live to be 100. Maybe he'll beat it, but I dunno.

Then my internet bff has a cat at her mom's house who had to be put down today. She had a post on tumblr about saying goodbye to her kitty, and it made me lose it. I can't deal with sick kitties on top of everything! R.I.P. King Maxwell. You looked like a fucking BAMF. I basically spent like an hour and a half crying in bed listening to Plastic Ono Band.

When I was on my break at work tonight, I started thinking about my great-uncle, and I started to get misty-eyed. I composed myself when my break was over, but literally as I'm walking from the break room to the register, this came on:



and I started to lose my shit again. I had the Claire Danes wiggly lip and everything. I ran back to the break room and blew my nose, and basically bit the insides of my mouth to keep from crying while the song was playing. I've had a shit week.

I honestly think Thanksgiving is my least favorite holiday. It always brings out the worst in my family. And I have to see family members that I want to drop all ties with (luckily that wasn't the case this year)
