i loved how in the last epi Katherine basically called elena out on how everyone who watched the show feels about her

so obviously the writers are aware of what people don't like about Elena yet they won't fix it O_o

I feel like that she is going to flip the switch eventually. I wish they would just go ahead and do it instead of making her whine for every. single. episode. I know everyone doesn't like her, but I think Elena is better than this bullshit they're thinking up for the character this year. Maybe if they just went "Fuck it" and pushed things over the edge, it would get more interesting.

man i rewatched some season 1 and elena used to be kind of badass. now she's a wimp. i shouldnt have rewatched bc now i am going to be pressed that she isn't as great as she used to be.

although, rewatching season1 reminds how much i fucking hate damon. awful pile of shit really.

Remember when the promos for this show were cracktastic because so much happened in every episode? This stupid love triangle has swallowed this show whole. I don't care about any of the three of them anymore.

Exactly! I'm sure the episode has something plot-related going on, but the promo people obviously think the triangle is a big pull if they're choosing to focus ONLY on that. I'm NHFT, obviously.
