Not to come off "special snowflake" but I've honestly never watched a Macy's Thanksgiving parade. They just never interested me so I'm curious what you all get out of it if you enjoy them? (not judging just curious)

I watched last year to take up time, since my husband's family does their dinner later. My kid rolled around on the floor and looked up once in a while. I decided since she technically saw the first one, we would watch this one, too (that and morbid curiosity about the Sesame Street float).
