Cultural misappropriations/mistrelizations aren't usually meant to be educational...

I'm sorry idk I just don't entirely understand your POV. I agree that this is hardly the most offensive way people have appropriated the Native American stereotype though.

Um did you see the video? It was more than just a headdress. They were in teepees, regalia etc

I mean I get what you're saying. It's easy to not understand why natives get so offended.Natives are portrayed in media as kind of just a part of the American myth. Headdresses and regalia have various significance in several tribes. We are represented as 'sexy pocahontas', glorified stoic plains indian or a sports mascot. For a proud people trying to regain their culture and be recognized as a genuine part of the American population, representations like the video kind of demean the slow progress we have taken.

Its kind of like oppressors making fun of the oppressed. I mean, I do think that there can be more appropriate representations of natives, but I feel like no one does any actual research and just perpetuate these caricatures of native people.
