Shawn was nervous. She liked Derek a lot but she was confident he didn’t like her. They were going out with Maks and Peta but they weren’t going on a date. Not really. Still she needed to look nice. She picked out her favorite red shirt, it was barely spring now and so she put on her white leather jacket just incase and a pair of dark wash jeans. She checked her reflection once, twice, three times before heading out.
Derek was nervous too, in his own way. Derek liked Shawn also but he couldn’t tell her, she didn’t like him, she was too young, he was too old. The date tonight would be one-sided.
