The cast TYFYT. Ugh I hate the cw for not promoting this show more (nikita too), I feel like I'm doing a much better job than they are. Anyway don't forget to watch Emily Owens tonight at 9pm on the cw! It's a very important episode for the show, so please watch it live, dvr it, buy it on itunes, stream it on the cw site, and check in to getglue. :) I will basically stan for this show until it's last dying breath.

lmao I was going through random shit in my downloads folder last night because I was bored/tired, and opened the pilot not really intending to watch it, and then I did, and like halfway through I was like "OMG I LIKE THIS" and then downloaded all the episodes and watched all four before I went to sleep

I almost cried when the girl with OCD died :((

I didn't almost cry, I cried! It was heartbreaking, but was delivered very subtly.

Even though this show is exactly like Grey's Anatomy (right down to the racially-diverse cast and gay character/s) I like it better because Mamie Gunner is so damn likable, even when her character is annoying. The same was not always true of Ellen Pompeo. Meredith was often insufferable.

It's much lighter than Grey's and doesn't take itself so seriously like Grey's. Also, these characters are likeable.

Well, a lot of the medical cases are total rip-offs but I really can't be bothered because no one has had sex with a ghost because of "cancer"...yet.

I like this show. I'm not going to stan for it or anything (no offense OP), but I really enjoy watching it. It's nice and fluffy which is good, because my on Tuesday show is SOA and it's such a downer atm.

figures -_- I have decided in the past 12 hours that I've enjoyed it the most of the new CW shows


if that's the case I hope the writer's at least acknowledge that and write a real finale. Fucking Ringer. The show NEVER did well and they still wrong a fucking cliffhanger season finale :|

i tried to like this show since it's in a healthcare setting but it is so entirely unrealistic and i really don't like the grown woman operating as a girl thing. like grey's is totally unrealistic but at least for a few seasons they had good characters. i only watched the pilot so maybe she gets better, but i really could not find it in me to like the main character

Also, I really appreciated that when all the nurses thought Emily was hitting on them, instead of reacting all "OMG, I like menz!!!" she went "OMG, I would never sexually harass in the workplace!!"

Clearly the writers are all women.

She did. But, iirc, she only told the guy she actually had a crush on as a "see, I'm so totes over you!" but her arch nemesis overheard and spread it around.

I always end up watching it on CWTV just cuz I watch New Girl and Mindy live and the streaming sites have no idea what Emily Owens is, lol. But then I have to go through all those annoying, repetitive ads. But whatevs. I want an actual ep about the lesbian doc, cuz damn, her arms when she took off her coat...

I doubt this show will last, but I love it. I'm half-hoping that if it gets dropped that some other channel, maybe TBS, will take pity and pick it up.

Its pretty generic from a medical/CW standpoint but then again all of their new shows are on the network. I still think Beauty and the Beast for all its problems is better than this just off being a procedural show.
