she still baffles me. like no one knew her before 2011, then she had amazing performances in four different movie last year and was all over the place.
i mean how the hell does one get THAT much exposure from nothing to so many features in such a short period of time (granted they were probably shot over a period of years together, and just happened to all come out in 2011, but still)?
She did Tree of Life first which was her big break. Malick doesn't mind casting unknowns, but he also casts huge celebs and he's very well-respected in the industry so that opened her up to the other parts she got. And Tree of Life started/finished shooting in 2007/2008, The Debt was done by 2010 but held over to 2011. It was just a weird timing thing that movies she shot over a period of 4 years all came out the same year.
I'm well aware that Bryce Dallas HOWARD is Ron HOWARD's daughter. I'm taking about Jessica being his love-child or something. I probably made it up from a blind item.
