i find it funny how they;re slaying in the album charts yet their singles arent doign well AND i like WMYB but radio stations need to stop playing it now.
Don't they have 2 platinum singles? And I think I saw 2 weeks ago that they've already sold more than 650,000 copies of LWWY. Seriously, they're doing better than many artists right now. They're not hurting at all.
LWWY debuted at #3 in the US, and WMYB peaked at #4, so I think they're good.
their singles have sold incredibly in the US thus far; they just don't get much radio play. in this day & age, though, radio doesn't make much of a difference.
because people are buying the albums because they like the boys, not because people like the music which will hurt them in the long run. Same thing happened to the Jonas Brothers.
Here the oldies stations used to both go 24/7 Christmas music and they were competing so they'd go earlier and earlier but this year one went out of business so the other one is taking their time starting yay.
What I'm most not looking forward to is when they start playing the Christmas music on the speakers at my work ;.;
we have one station that does that & they've started. I would be excited, but they only ever have a playlist of 30 songs - all of which are mostly modern covers - that they just play on loop 24 hrs a day from now until new year's.
I've not heard a single song on the radio and only saw 1 live performance of Ride. Sooo glad people still went out and got the new edition.
