Yeah, I work kind of a short shift so I'm not tripping, not really. And I really do like my job, it's just like...how much earlier are retail fucks going to push back the Black Friday openings? Soon, they're going to start opening on Thanksgiving Day, for sobbing out loud.

And I haaaaaate that I'll be in NYC for this. I am taking my black ass home as soon as my shift is over and barricading my door.

The big boxes are going to be open on Thanksgiving and having sales. I got like 3 KMart flyers in the mail, one for Thursday morning, one for Midnight and one for Friday 5am.

The Old Navy at the mall I work at is open all day Thanksgiving. And I'm just like those poor workers.

I'm working midnight in a motherfucking mall on Black Friday in a motherfucking 12 hour shift.

My boss is bringing tequila and shot glasses in the break room so we can numb the pain.

Your boss is fucking BOSS tbh. I only work...four or five hours? It's not a long shift, thank god so I'll be hightailing it home.

I did a midnight-noon shift a few years ago. It wasn't too bad because I was running around like crazy. But once I got home I slept from 2pm to 4am the next day.

I hated when I worked at Target. Black Friday and Christmas Eve were the worst days ever.

Black Fridays are apocalypses for retail, basically. My last Black Friday was at four AM at Guitar Center and I wanted to kill myself.

Yea, it's terrible. When I worked at Target, we opened at 5 that day and had a 4 am meeting. People were already lined up around the building. I had to go park at Office Depot and walk to work.

i feel bad for the prsn who said they had to get to work @ 5pm on thursday.... b/c they work at a subway that is located inside of a walmart... which doesnt open for black friday sales until like 8pm.

but they have to be open just in case customers want to eat
