David Walliams, Frank Skinner and Micky Flanagan team up for new BBC1 show

David Walliams, Frank Skinner and Micky Flanagan are teaming up to make a new Saturday night entertainment show for BBC1.

I Love My Country will see Frank and Micky both captaining teams made up of famous faces from the worlds of sport, entertainment and music, who’ll lock intellects to find out who knows the most about Britain.

Walliams will act as the show's host, and I Love My Country will be filmed in front of a live studio audience. In addition to the questions, there’ll also be music from a house band fronted by Mobo Award-winning pop star Jamelia.

The show’s executive editor Alan Taylor said of the new show: “I Love My Country is a funny, boisterous and shamelessly competitive celebration of the United Kingdom, with the perfect host and captains at the core.

"David, Frank, Micky and Jamelia have a terrific chemistry and we are delighted to be bringing the series to a BBC One audience."

Based on the Dutch TV hit of the same name, I Love My Country will begin an eight-part run on BBC1 in early 2013.

Literally the worst idea ever, I'm not sure which "star" I hate the most.

David Walliams is the worst of all them all imo, but it's a very close race.

idk "Are you on your period?" Micky Flanagan and "Atheists are as big a threat as climate change deniers" Frank Skinner are pretty bad

I don't have any specific awfulness on David Walliams, he just seems like a complete twat.

I just hate him the most because his general attitude and voice are repulsive to me. The other two are absolutely awful, but they're easier to ignore because they don't seem to talk as much (Mickey Flanagan doesn't anyway, I have no idea why he keeps getting on these shows).
