Oprah Endorses Microsoft Surface... Via Twitter for iPad

Oprah, or her Twitter surrogates, dun’ goofed.

A tweet was sent from Oprah’s account claiming that she loved Microsoft’s new tablet so much that she bought 12 to give as Christmas gifts.

Unfortunately for Microsoft’s PR team, this tweet was sent from an iPad.

SIGH. I'm very pressed that there's hardly any tablets out there (with the exception of maybe that flop Samsung Note 10.1 with that S-Pen) for artists

I have a wacom cintiq for my digital art, but I also just bought a Samsung Note 10.1 and honestly - it's not too bad! I mean, the S-Pen is a wacom pen with 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity so the pen itself is good, its just waiting for the apps to get to pc-level standards. I use photoshop CS5 with my cintiq, and have tried every app on the samsung to see if anything compares - nothing is AS GOOD as using CS5 on my PC, but Photoshop Touch and an app called Layer Paint are both really decent, can use layers, pressure sensitivity for opacity/size etc - and both can save files as .psd.
Sorry for the spiel lol, but I've had the tablet for about a week and I'm really in love with it right now, so as a digital artist too I just wanted to let you know that while not a replacement for a proper wacom tablet, it can be a fairly decent accessory (eg I have used it for sketching in bed and on the train, and uploaded the psd to my computer later for touching up). With better apps and updates, idk, it might end up even more than that :)
