Really hoping that this show gets less stupid. I find myself thinking more about the plot holes and stupid character actions these days than what's actually happening.
I'm trying to be positive about shit, so I am trying not to say it, but I'm with you on this. I'm still enjoying the show, but we are getting dangerously close to eye roll territory, and I'm afraid that the show as it is right now is getting dangerously close to running its course.
agreed. as much as carrie and brody had a relationship last season, i still don't get why everyone, EVERYONE, is like Carrie you were in love with him. What? like it was never that intense.
despite the HUGE gaping plot holes, the acting is still good.
I might be giving the show too much credit, but latching onto the memory of a relationship that only seemed fling-ish while it was happening is somewhat common with people who are bipolar. It's part of that whole manic intensity. it doesn't necessarily make sense but it's consistent with Carrie's character.
Eh I don't really care much yet. The show is still telling a damn good story (and I really am fascinated by the Carrie/Brody relationship which I suppose makes watching the character study easier for me) so I can let these plot holes slide for now.
I'll just assume that Abu Nazir took the same train to the US that Matthew Crawley used to get from WWI to Downton Abbey.

Problem solved.
