I still haven't gotten caught up on all the movies. I got tired of sitting through a re-drawing of the TV episodes just so I could see a new ending and I quit like halfway through the first of the movies. One day I'll just marathon all of them and catch up. Or at least figure out who the hell pilot 05 is finally. In the series, wasn't 05 Shinji's classmate? The guy who's name I can't remember who lost a leg when an Angel infected his Eva? Or do I have numbers mixed up? I've lost track of this storyline completely at this point, tbh. My knowledge kind of stops at the end of the TV series and the rest is sort of vague.
