"'She will not date my Harry': Taylor Swift sent 'death threats' over rumoured romance with One Direction's Harry Styles

A group calling themselves the Directioners posted a string of cruel tweets aimed at the 22-year-old singer, attacking her over her reported relationship with the One Direction hunk.

LOL, is anyone from ONTD part of the Directioners?

I thought it would be cheaper to book a trip wayyyy in advance, but most deals online are for things in the next month or so. :|
buttermell0w 19th-Nov-2012 06:27 pm (UTC)
flying is so expensive it's legit the main reason i never travel. one of my best friends live in japan and is always asking me to come visit and is like u can stay with me and everything!!! but omg the plane tickets from SF to tokyo, no gurl.
anus 19th-Nov-2012 06:28 pm (UTC)
Oh god I know. If I didn't live on the east coast I'd send my parents to Hawaii, but the plane tickets cost as much as the hotel. I'm thinking Puerto Rico instead, but it's still expensive x_x
heartstopper 19th-Nov-2012 06:28 pm (UTC)
yeah it's actually cheaper not to in these days. unless it's for rail or bus travel.
gee 19th-Nov-2012 06:33 pm (UTC)
I hate that flying is so expensive :( I wanted to go to my friend's wedding but even looking a few months in advance, flying to England was still like $900. I might be able to get somewhere but damn if i'll have any money for a hotel or food lol.
ty_slilreject 19th-Nov-2012 07:03 pm (UTC)
Ugh, I used to be able to travel for free since my dad worked at American Airlines, but I had to start paying for flights once I turned 23, since I was supposed to be an "independent adult" by then. I really did not take advantage of the privilege before.
emmy0001 19th-Nov-2012 06:24 pm (UTC)

That 1D catcalling post is giving me life. My thesis is on cat-calling. Ugh. Perfect storm.
mynamehere07 19th-Nov-2012 06:31 pm (UTC)
Yeah, I skimmed most of that post. I was actually kind of afraid of what the comments would be like.
hemsworth 19th-Nov-2012 07:34 pm (UTC)
i couldn't even sit through that post and go through the comments. i was uncomfortable.
orangeandblack 19th-Nov-2012 06:25 pm (UTC)
My boss is trying to "manage" stuff. This wouldn't be a problem because most people are going to be like "Duh, he's the boss..." but he's just a figurehead at this point because he's got Alzheimer's and it's putting me on edge, plus making me near tears.

I got all this under control but he's not seeing it that way. I'm crying thinking about what End of Year is going to be like with him trying to read reports again and well, not understanding anything at all. Not that he understood them when he was cogent :|
williammiller 19th-Nov-2012 06:26 pm (UTC)
I went out to lunch with a friend at a cafe in a little cute part of downtown Annapolis. Now we're in DC. I'm waiting in the car while my friend goes and picks up stuff from her old office. Her office had mold and her work refused to fix it so she left.

I went to my sisters house yesterday and my littlest niece gave me her Christmas list. I don't know if she thinks we're the Trump family or what but I don't know how she expects us to buy all this shit for her. Sorry, you're 11, you're not getting an iPad.
cutiepie0304 19th-Nov-2012 06:29 pm (UTC)
Speaking of iPads for kids - I went to Target on Saturday, and they had these iPad frames or w/e that had legs and handles on them for little kids to use as stands, and it really annoyed me. What happened to little kids playing with Legos and Hot Wheels, or just running around like a loon outside?

/endrant
anus 19th-Nov-2012 06:35 pm (UTC)
When I go to work there is always a little boy outside playing by himself. He was entertained by a PLASTIC PLATE for hours one day. Then there's all these stupid kids in my store with their ipads and ipods.
buncha_cruncha 19th-Nov-2012 06:40 pm (UTC)
I really think people underestimate the ability of kids to entertain themselves without iPads and shit. Story time: My nieces and nephews came to a picnic at my parents' house, and I was worried they would be bored, but they literally entertained themselves for HOURS just running around in circles in the yard. No video games or phones involved. It was great.

LINCOLN LOGS >>>>>>>>>>>>>
buttermell0w 19th-Nov-2012 06:30 pm (UTC)
LOL
the 6 year old kid i nanny for is getting an i-pad tomorrow from his dad b/c they are flying back east for the holidays so to keep his busy on the plane. im like wtf. my mom was like, here's some coloring books k when i was 6 lmao.

im glad i have a small family so it's just my parents. and we're not getting along too well rn but i'm still going to get them a family gift just to be nice, but im just doing something small b/c im way too broke rn lol
chuk_is_dazzled 19th-Nov-2012 06:37 pm (UTC)
my sister wanted to get her 3 yr old an iPad, me and my bro were like are you nuts?!
magicpebble 19th-Nov-2012 06:41 pm (UTC)
My 11 year old cousin is always the same way with her Christmas list. Sometimes I question whether she even has any idea how much stuff costs.

Also, eww, how can they just refuse to fix a mold problem?
orangeandblack 19th-Nov-2012 06:44 pm (UTC)
We never asked for expensive stuff for Christmas but we knew better, we never got expensive stuff regardless of the time, so it's like "Why bother now?", lol.

It makes me wonder what sort of kids they're hanging out with if they think it's no big deal to ask for things like that. I mean, it's like asking for a pony, not happening, kiddo.
cutiepie0304 19th-Nov-2012 06:26 pm (UTC)
Today is my Friday, the boss is home sick, and I'm alone in the office eating veggie soup. I also got a hair appointment that I didn't think would be available. Who knew Mondays could be so rewarding :D
mikee414 19th-Nov-2012 06:27 pm (UTC)

Ooh! My stepmom bought me a Linea Pelle purse for Christmas. The website had an insane sale, and this purse was on sale from $295 to $89. She told me to just act surprised cause she wasn't going to wait for me to leave and risk it being gone. lol I'm so excited!
cutiepie0304 19th-Nov-2012 06:31 pm (UTC)
Damn, that's a hot deal!
distant_lines 19th-Nov-2012 06:37 pm (UTC)
I know. It wasn't the color I initially asked for because that color was taken off of being on sale, but it was a color I'd wanted earlier this summer. I didn't ask for the color for Christmas because it was more of a summer color, so I'm still really happy. Besides, I live in TN, I can break out summer colors in March.
williammiller 20th-Nov-2012 12:50 am (UTC)
That is a damn good deal!
ani_di_franco 19th-Nov-2012 06:29 pm (UTC)

Went to Target yesterday for face wash and left with two bags of York Peppermint Patties and a cake stand - and I don't even bake. Damn you, Target!

Edited at 2012-11-19 06:31 pm (UTC)
chrislola 19th-Nov-2012 06:32 pm (UTC)
