Oh lord the hate Deb constantly got (and still gets tbh) is ridiculous. Like, I could maybe understand it in the earlier seasons because she wasn't as developed as she is now, but she still gets called annoying and whiny and bitchy, etc. A lot of hate she gets is stuff that a male character would easily get away with (she swears too much, is too aggressive, has a man face, etc).
Fuck the haters, that's what I love the most about her. I hate it when those attributes are given to men and if women have them it's ~bad. I can swear a lot in certain parts of my life (i.e. not in front of my family lol), and women could definitely do with being more aggressive. Fuck sexist bullshit saying we shouldn't be. Fuck. it.
