I lol'd not even gonna lie. I love this show to death, I love all the woc characters (yes even cassandra) I'm not giving up until it's actually dead! Fans don't forget to watch this on Tuesday 9pm on the cw! Non fans, mind trying to give this show a shot? It might be worth it! It's so important to watch this live on tuesday! :) If you can't, dvr it, watch it on the cw website, or buy it on itunes. Oh and remember to check in to getglue, because cw checks that stuff.

i keep hearing this show described as high school taking place in a hospital and just, no. it's annoying enough seeing characters being angsty brats when the characters are actually *in* high school.

also, random, but i'm tired of hospital shows kinda shitting over nurses. does emily owens do that?

The nurses are pretty bitchy in this, but mostly because they don't like Emily due to a series of awkward mishaps.

bleh, i think i'll pass then... i'm not even a nurse, nor do i know any IRL, but i always get so pressed on their behalf lol. i think i read one stat from a couple of years ago that said that out of 25 lead roles on hospital shows, only 1 was for a nurse character (and that was ER, which is no longer on). and too often you have nurses being portrayed as mindless automatons or as bitchy antagonists to the much more intelligent and enlightened doctors. nhft.

Yeah I can't deal with high school bullshit in a hospital. That's one place where professionalism is key and you should leave your petty nonsense at home.

I miss nurse-centered medical dramas sfm :( Hawthorne and Mercy were amazing imo. And lbr they do 85% of the stuff in hospitals and I hate that their always just portrayed as MDs hand maidens.

I'm biased when it comes to nurses b/c my mom's a Nurse Practitioner and to hear some the shit she has to put up with from physicians is crazy. I hate how physicians have such a God complex. Your ass gets saved repeatedly by pharmacists and RNs and who knows what else but instead of thanking them from saving your ass from a lawsuit you just sort of wave your hand at them. I really dislike the AMA and ADA because they don't look out for what is the best for the patient but protect their own interests.

Which I mean part of me understands why they do it but at the same time, their mission is to "To promote the art and science of medicine and the betterment of public health" but they have their heads stuck so far up their asses that they lose sight of that a lot.

She is definitely not a bitch. She's really socially awkward, and lets people walk all over her, but she's really not that bitchy. I don't know what friends you're referring to though (as she really only has one friend (the guy at #4 in the poster).

i know shes not. its how its portrayed in he promos. like how she doesn't want her friend to date a black girl and interupts their dates, she goes behind the other doctor back to do something to his mom.

i don't watch the show but these promos make her look like the bad person.

Mamie looks like if you copy/pasted Meryl's face onto a bigger head (which I suppose she got from her father.) Out of all of Meryl's daughters, Mamie looks the most identical.

JK, I've never seen the show so I have no idea if it's any good. However, I did see some previews and it looked like your standard, bland medical procedural. If it's actually a cute show, than the marketing team screwed up.
