The Amazing Race, Season 21, Episode 8

The Amazing Race Season 21, Episode 8 - "We Was Robbed" - Moscow, Russia

Rockers James & Abba could not recover after having their passports stolen in the last leg and were eliminated.

This week's placements

1. James & Jaymes (Chippendale Dancers)
2. Trey & Lexi (Texans)
3. Natalie & Nadiya (Twins)
4. Abbie & Ryan (Dating Divorcees)
5. Josh & Brent (Goat Farmers/Beekman Boys)
6. James & Abba (Rockers)

Next week: Amsterdam

Nice to see Jaymes/James get their shit together and finally pull off a first place finish. They're the shining light of this awful season and I hope they win.

Interesting to see that they didn't display the departure times like they usually do... I'm curious how far behind Abbie/Ryan, Josh/Brent, and James/Abba were.

Also, someone pointed out on another forum, they're very clearly showing each arrival at the pitstop saying hello/goodbye in their native language. Potentially part of the final challenge?

I laughed so hard at ryan being cocky on the time zone challenge.

There's no way they would have remembered or noticed a cab company name, especially if it was in Cyrillic, or communicate even if they could. It was an issue they just couldn't solve on their own.

i was so, so, so shocked that so many people didn't understand that the +4 was just four hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time

That's what I thought - call the cab companies. AND were they only allowed to find out about their passports once their time started? I kinda felt irritated that they were sitting in their hotel room waiting for their time to start when they coulda been on the phone (ie. start time commences and they ask a passerby for their phone) or going to the police station. If producers said they had to wait, I don't think that is very fair.
