the political aspects are the best parts of the books. i mean, they're all gonna flop so hard when winter comes bc they spent so much time plotting against each other. idg how the war/other part is so becoming so prominent on the show.
me either, I mean 5 books in and I feel like there have only been a few times where the focus was on the others (a few of jon's chapters, then sam's, and now bran's)
I'm much much more interested in the game of thrones than the endless winter or w/e, unless grrm switches it up and makes the others more sympathetic and shit. nhf the Good Guys fighting the Big Bad
but it would be fitting if they all got fucked bc they were so focused on the fight for the seven kingdoms
Well I think they are going to have to focus on it so people understand wtf Stannis/Mel end up doing, the wildings/Mance, the wall, Bran, etc. The South is just ignoring it til it hits them in the face.
