I can't seem to find any confirmation on what's happening on the 28th. It's soon enough after a holiday it may be a rerun to avoid risking even worse ratings than usual. It's not usually a question that needs to be asked since usually all shows are on extended hiatus by that point. Nikita won't have reach mid season hiatus yet, so IDK when new eps will start up again after the Christmas specials on the 14th and 21st.

Dec 14th and 21st were previously announced as Christmas specials (stupid generic ones too, not any good ones like Charlie Brown). There are a couple other shows getting preempted on various dates for specials too, so it's not just Nikita in this case.
