Kate Middleton Returns Gifted Kardashian Kollection Clothing

Photobucket

Kate Middleton has reportedly returned clothes she was sent by Kim Kardashian.

The Duchess of Cambridge is said to have rejected the Kardashian Kollection pieces and returned them to suppliers Dorothy Perkins.

According to The Examiner, a source said that Middleton - who often wears high-end high street pieces - would be unlikely to wear any of the items.

"Kate is hardly going to turn up for an event with the Queen in a cheap leopard-print miniskirt or gold sequinned jacket," they said. The source also added that the Duchess had turned down Kardashian's invitation to tea.

Kardashian insiders rejected the claims, saying that the sisters never sent Middleton the designs or planned to meet with her.

"Kim was working the whole time and though she admires Kate, she didn't reach out to her," they told E! Online.

i don't care for the kardashians, but to be fair...

“The Duchess gets free clothes sent to her every day of the week, and she always sends them back. The royal family is very careful about not being seen to endorse any product. It’s just not proper. Quite apart from that, the Kardashian outfits just aren’t appropriate for a duchess."

who are her clothes made by?

getting free stuff from brands and wearing it is more "commercial" and blatant endorsement than just going out and buying them.
vicvinegar 19th-Nov-2012 12:34 am (UTC)
that's because kate dresses like a fucking prude grandma

After the Trump revelation that his clothing line is made in china, Im wondering where Kardashian stuff is made.

china, indonesia, taiwan, malaysia, take your pick

Their clothing is nothing special tbh. I still don't know why they're charging 10 dollars for their water at the Dash store. I hope Kendall and Kylie's clothing line is better.

I love everything about this. even if it's not what happened, I'm maintaining that it's true.

annoying and not really funny. if she didn't like them, just donate them. stories probably bogus anyways though.
agatharuncible 19th-Nov-2012 01:26 am (UTC)
someone else just posted that she always sends back the free stuff she gets. more subtle than donating them, which could lead to (negative) publicity for the designers

i'm wondering what the term would be for a person who is basically a weeaboo but for british culture and royalty instead of japanese culture, since they always show up to defend the duchess as being SO HARDWORKING AND CLASSY.
flightbyzephyr 19th-Nov-2012 01:01 am (UTC)
Anglophile.
therealycats 19th-Nov-2012 01:14 am (UTC)
Eh, has Anglophile really taken on that negative a connotation?

"Kim was working the whole time and though she admires Kate, she didn't reach out to her," they told E! Online." I believe her, why risk the rejection? Even she can't be that deluded.

I'm glad Kate returned Kim's gaudy clothes, she's far too classy for things like that. If you want to have tea with her Kim, you need to do your homework and not be so shallow and full of yourself.

the real queen has spoken tbh
