Mila Kunis has been out and about in Rome as she attended a charity bash for the hurricane-hit island of Haiti. The 29-year-old actress went into the red carpet event with the director of her latest movie, Third Person.

I love her coat! Have you bought anything good lately ONTD?

She looked elegant in a black gown and had her hair tied up Audrey Hepburn-style as she went in arm-and-arm with Paul Haggis, who carried an umbrella to protect them both from the wet weather.

They have been filming Haggis' latest movie in Rome, with Kunis starring alongside James Franco in one segment of the film.

The Ukrainian-born actress rose to fame on the sitcom That 70s Show, in which she starred alongside her now-boyfriend Ashton Kutcher, as well as providing the voice of Meg Griffin in Family Guy. The couple began dating earlier this year after Kutcher's split with Demi Moore and have recently come out to deny rumours that Kunis is pregnant.

The fundraising dinner for the Haitian Relief Organization came at the end of the 7th International Film Festival and was held in the Italian capital's Cinecetta studios. Other stars attending included Sean Penn, Desiree Colapietro and Mario Bello.

i don't think it was because of a weight gain. there rumor is that she really didn't represent the brand very well- her everyday wardrobe was/is super sloppy.

as for jennifer she not tiny, but she's definitely working out more since she's doing actions stunts in THG and she's taller, so any weight gain will be less noticeable

But Portman has the WORST fashion sense in her every day life, so that doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Though Portman is a more A-list "movie star" than Mila.

Portman also has a fancier pedigree and more conventional features than Kunis. I could see both of those appealing to Dior. I like both actresses, myself.

also portman is doing beauty/fragrance for dior so even though she's not the most stylish, she always looks decent/cool and her face is obviously always perfect. also mila is doing accessories, which makes no damn sense. to me they only picked her because she was in black swan and kinda looks like marion cotillard.

Yeah that's true re: makeup. I was also going to add the Black Swan thing, too-they probably just liked the idea of the two of them being obligated to wear Dior throughout the award season...and now like the idea of Lawrence having to wear it through the award season.

Honestly, none of these people besides Marion seem like Raf Simons "type of woman."

idk i think portman and lawrence are quite elegant naturally. and although i think marion works well for dior, there's no way in hell i would've thought she was fit for the job a few years ago.

I can agree Portman has an elegance. Lawrence, I disagree with--she's too bubbly/goofy. But my comment was specifically about Raf taking over--I find both of them to be incongruous with his aesthetic, and both have looked ridiculous in his designs so far. Only time will tell though!

I do hope he does Lawrence better throughout award season because I feel bad for her with what she's been wearing so far.

i haven't really paid attention to her but just googled it and she does look awful but with the right hairstyles and make up, she could totally pull it off. she has a very "sexy" look au naturel so they need to go minimal with her. basically she needs to get herself a better stylist.
lollapoe 19th-Nov-2012 12:47 am (UTC)
her previous stylist, while definitely having a few misses, worked quite well for her imo. She actually changed stylists when her Dior contract was announced (maybe their suggestion?), and it's been a disaster.

exactly.

fuck the dior board charlize, eva green were perfect although i think charlize still has her contract

Amen to Charlize and Eva. I think Charlize still has the contract, but IA I'm not sure. Though she seemed attached to Galliano and w/o him I wonder if she'll continue.
