POP sweethearts Leona Lewis and One Direction’s Liam Payne enjoyed a steamy 60-minute dressing room love-in at Children In Need on Friday night.
BBC crews were told to ensure the pair were not disturbed as the smitten couple cosied-up for a full hour after their performances on the charity show.
Chart-topping Leona hinted she had “feelings” for the hunky boyband star in an interview last month.
But news of the hour-long dressing room tryst will heighten rumours they have begun a relationship.
Last night a TV source told us: “Liam and Leona shared a dressing room on Friday night.
“Crew were told in no uncertain terms they should not be disturbed for a full hour after her performance.”
News of the couple’s burgeoning romance first broke last month after 19-year-old Payne split from his long-term girlfriend, dancer Danielle Peazer, in September.
Meanwhile East London-based Leona, 27, has previously dated dancer Dennis Jauch, 24, and her childhood sweetheart Lou Al-Chamaa.
Other reports last week claimed the pair are planning to snatch some quality time together in California over Christmas. Last month the Bleeding Love singer said of her new man: “Liam is very handsome and very sweet…but he is young.
“He’s got his head screwed on and has good values and morals.
“We’ve known each other for a good couple of years. I met him through our label and management, plus we would bump into each other at shows.”
The pair’s latest rendezvous came as they showcased their new singles on the BBC charity show.
Lewis performed her new song Fireflies while One Direction wowed fans with a pulsating version of Live While We’re Young.
Big-hearted Brits donated a record-breaking £26.7million during the seven-hour live show, with more money expected to pour in over the next few weeks.
Highlights of the 33rd fundraiser also included an exclusive Doctor Who “prequel” to its Christmas special.
David Ramsden, chief executive of BBC Children in Need, said: “Tonight’s total is phenomenal. It is amazing that people across the UK have once again come together to raise such a massive sum.
“Thank you so much for helping to change thousands of young lives in the UK.”

Ngl any other day I'd make a snarky comment but I just had to get a ton of condolence texts about my ex since their new love posted a gushing Facebook status. Sometimes people won't let you move on. So I'll say something nice, I hope Danielle is ok and surrounded by loved ones. get it Liam run after that crush. I hope it works better for you than Dougie and Frankie. If this is even remotely true.
