autumn1234FOOD CRISIS — 17th-Nov-2012 01:12 am (UTC)
GUYYYYYYYYYYS there's nothing to eat in my house that will be good without ranch dressing(pizza rolls, salad, buffalo wings), which we are currently out of. I keep thinking of mac and cheese, but I feel so gross when I eat pasta, and I've been trying to stay away from cheese. So Idk what to do. More importantly tho, I need something yummy, not filling. Any ideas on simple simple simple ways I can spice up something like mac and cheese or ramen? My family cooks a lot so I probably have a lot of spices and little things to add to stuff.
Please no referring me to websites, I'll never decide on anything myself >.>
Yes. This might sound cheesy but I'd wear them with fleshtone tights and maybe a cute little black dress with a bunch of green tinted jewelry. Or I'd wear them with Jeans and Black Blazer with a white Oxford Blouse and clunky bracelets.
Star Trek TOS seasons 2 and 3 A bunch of books about the Titanic Once Upon A Time season 1
I spent like.. $300 in the last four days all together. I'm so ashamed of myself, but then again, everything was paid off with giftcards. So in a way, my bank account is like "THANK U BB JESUS FOR BEING LEFT ALONE!"
has anyone been thinking about theirs or ones they want to make?
I gave up red meat and pork recently so I am gonna try and stick to that, and eat more fruits and veggies. I'd also like to take an internationall trip next year but we'll see.

I'm trying to cut down on my spending--I love to shop even for things I really don't need. One of my credit cards is ridiculous and I want to stop using it as often. So I am making a list of what I can buy each month (and it's stuff I need vs just what I want) and trying to now stick to it.
One thing on the list will be what I can "treat" myself to each month (like an item of clothing I find cute or new earrings) but then that's it.

My resolutions tend to be more vague and ~spiritual. Last year I decided to finally get therapy/medication, stop chasing emotionally unavailable men and really sort out my educational and career goals. It's the first year I really took my resolutions seriously and it worked out pretty fantastically. I'm now on meds for anxiety and ADHD, got a summer internship in Atlanta (800 miles away from home) and fell in love with the city, stopped fucking a FWB that wasn't really a friend at all and took up a summer fling that actually treated me well. I made the permanent move to Atlanta 6 weeks after my internship ended and I went home, my fling and I talked the entire time I was back home and he's now "occasional boyfriend" and I'm 6 credits away from graduating.

Anyway, this year I'm thinking I'm going to do more to really establish myself in my field and try to save up enough money for a down payment on a condo.

I like yours... the one about eating more fruits and veggies. I think I want to do that. I told myself that I'd like to be nicer and be more proactive and take more chances.
Went to the midnight showing of Breaking Dawn (judge me) but I had two wine margaritas, wine slushies basically, and it was the funniest shit ever. And weird and funny and the only twilight movie I've seen.
When the names were shown at the beginning people cheered for RPattz and Jacob, so I cheered for Billy Burke and Rami :)
And then Michael Sheen's character did this weird laugh/gasp thing I screamed and about died with laughter. That alone was worth the price of admission. I want it to leak so I can make it a ringtone :3
And the 'fight scene' was actually intense haha. Too bad it didn really happen. Would have had my respect if they had the balls to keep it real.
It was weird tho seeing a father and son buy tickets for the show. Never would have thought haha
this was my first week at my new job. it's insane, i'm going to be in training for 2 months! it's so weird going from being in charge at my old job, to knowing nothing at all, it's killing me.
Ugh, luckily I don't have problems like that. It's a huge company, 3000+ people, 120 in my department and I've actually trained/taught about 15 of them at my old job. That's what's killing me, I know these kids are so shitty at lab work...because I taught them and now they get to give me orders. I'm very pleased to have a job with benefits now though, so I'm sure I'll get over it.
be thankful for all of that training tho! at my current job after the 3rd day they just left me alone to fend for myself and i was stressed and freaking out for months.

one year i went to Best Buy for a laptop. we lined up and stood there for hours waiting. they did this flier deal where they gave out 10 fliers and those 10 people would get whichever product the flier was for(if they didn't want it, the flier was given to the next person in line). well that's not exactly how they did it at this store. they handed all of the fliers to the first person in line, who then decided to "sell" the fliers to anyone else in line. even the cop standing outside was like "oh it's not illegal!"
last year i went to Target and it was actually a lot of fun. stood in line for a few hours, they only let in 30 people every minute and i got in and out with everything i went for in 15 minutes without any problems.
this year i'm not even bothering since most places are opening at 8-9pm Thanksgiving day and i'll be with family for our dinner.

i'm not too worried about it only because my store already prides themselves on their low prices so nothing will be any cheaper than it would normally be. it'll just be crazy busy which is the norm around this time.

I just started working at Starbucks and I have to work Friday afternoon. I'm not looking forward to it at all. But it's kind of in the middle of nowhere though so I'm hoping it doesn't get as crazy as the one in my town does.
btw i got all of my housemates to watch arrested development, and yesterday, when we had to watch 'new york new york' (ft. liza minelli) in class, my hm turned to me at the end and said "all i could think of during that was lucille 2"
Please no referring me to websites, I'll never decide on anything myself >.>
I can't think of anything else, sorry. I suck.
Can't help further, I'm not knowledgeable about clothing. I would just wear them.
my sneakers are that color and i give no fucks about my outfits tho tbh

As long as the clothes are cute and go with the style of the shoe, it'd look good with any other color!

He was good though (no surprise) and had a lot of funny moments.
Bear 1: BOB! LOOK THE HUMAN IS WAVING AT ME! HELLO HUMAN!
Bear 2: JOE, WHAT ARE YOU... OH HELLO HUMAN, I SHALL WAVE AT YOU TOO!
I used to hate even going to the lunch room with those stare-at-you-and-say-nothing motherfuckers.
