Rihanna Covers Billboard Magazine + Diamonds Remix Feat. Kanye West

Rihanna is dominating the magazine circuit this era. After covering ‘Vogue’ for the second time, and stripping off for ‘GQ’s Men Of The Year issue, she scores Billboard‘s November 24th cover! The blurry cover is an outtake from her ‘Unapologetic’ album shoot and features the wig snatching headline ‘The World Is Hers’. Some of her astonishing achievements are listed on it. The best selling digital artist of all time has sold 8.7 million albums and 58 million tracks. Not bad for someone aged just 24, and whom has been around for just seven years!

Rihanna is currently on her ’777′ tour, a flying seven-day trip around the globe that will bring her to intimate venues. The first show kicked off on Wednesday in Mexico, and she played Toronto last night. Today, she plays Stockholm, and tomorrow it’s Paris. On Sunday, it’s Berlin and on Monday, it’s London. Then on Tuesday, her last show will take place in New York which is when the new album drops in stores!

I don't mind Kanye (gotta have love for a fellow Gemini) but I feel like I never understand what the fuck he is talking about when he throws raps together for other people's songs... it's just like "Uhhh, these sentences aren't making sense together."

I like him as a producer but he's a terrible rapper.

lol ofc you are responding to this comment

I dropped this tea on you before. I think you might have blocked it out of your memory.

ontd is the only site where there's people that consider kanye to be a good rapper. He has funny liners from time to time, yes. His rhymes are elementary and his flow is below average. Rap heads consider him to be a bad rapper, great producer tho. It says a lot that even Jay-Z (his mentor, big brother) saw no potential in him as a rapper and never wanted to sign him.
larastone 18th-Nov-2012 10:15 pm (UTC)
lmao wtf which rap heads are you talking to? as far as mainstream goes, kanye is always considered the standout, esp after jay dropped off. 808s was when he started splitting hairs, but mbdtf got them back and now the general consensus is that he's a mess.
and that's a common story tho...explain how college dropout exceeded his expectations and all the other naysayers? idk where you're hearing this shit but lawd, check your sources.
quote_me_once 16th-Nov-2012 11:02 pm (UTC)
lol yeah i feel like he does that shit for songs they just need his voice on
calinewarkwc69 16th-Nov-2012 11:07 pm (UTC)
It's so confusing, because, I know he can actually put legit shit together- Lord knows "Gold Digger" is my jam (Well, actually, it's my mom's jam but I gave it to her by dedicating it to her in public every chance I get)... but whenever it's someone else's shit that he is just featured on, I think he goes home, puts a bunch of rhyming shit together, and then Kanye shrugs all the way to the bank.
astrofisica 16th-Nov-2012 11:07 pm (UTC)
lmao yeah. I love him deadly, but he has always saved his best material for his albums.
whitegirlmob 16th-Nov-2012 11:11 pm (UTC)
He's talking about Roc lyfe. The diamond is their symbol.
tutuhead 16th-Nov-2012 11:41 pm (UTC)
lmao yes! whenever i hear featuring kanye west i'm just like oh boy. (ET, Birthday Song, Runaway Love come to mind). i mean there are times when he nails it but most of the time he just raps so random as shit that has nothing to do with the rest of the song save for a double entendre or two. love him nonetheless
