Inside, she talks about being labeled a homewrecker after rumors of an alleged affair with husband, Swizz Beatz, during his marriage to then wife, Mashonda. The girl on fire singer has already denied engaging in a relationship with Swizz during his first marriage, but decided to touch on the subject again…

Look, I don't know shit about their relationship, but I totally feel the flack women (lbr it's always women) get when they don't act in a socially ascribed manner in matters of relationships. I dumped my ex of 5 years and found a fantastic man 2 weeks later - been together ever since and no, we did not fool around at all before the break-up. I can't tell you how much shit I got for not ~mourning appropriately~ after the break-up. Like fuck y'all, sorry I didn't whine and writhe as much as you wanted me to... ?

I got BS for something similar. I tried to work things out with my ex and he said that he was in the same boat, not talking to/messing around with anyone else. Got my evidence to prove the contrary, got sick of the lying and other BS and kinda rebounded with someone else. Now his friend(s) are pretty much labeling me a "smut" and "slore." Like, these thirsty bitches don't even know an iota of the situation. But hey, he's a guy so he can go around and fuck whoever, even when he's with me.

Ugh well luckily most of my flack was along the lines of OMG YOU HAVE NO EMOTIONS HDU ENJOY SOMETHING LESS THAN LIKE TWO YEARS AFTER A BREAK-UP instead of calling me a whore, but yeah, it's so fucking ridiculous. Just people all distraught that you aren't basically clutching your ovaries and contemplating the ways you could have better satisfied your man.

IF YOU CAN BELIEVE IT, the ex didn't experience basically any of that. We talk now (hell it's been 4 years since we broke up - still with the same "rebound" dude) and he's just like "yeah everyone said they felt bad but then they all bought me drinks lol" Surpriiiiise.

Just the worse, isn't it? I'm glad to hear you two are still together. I wish people would either mind their own business or stop expecting women to fall apart when the relationship does. I mean, guys get to move on for a number of reasons at any old pace.

My husband of 12 yrs (11 of which he was the best) decided he was done and gave me a month to leave our house. A MONTH!! I was devestated and tried so hard to get him back for months, and nada. It was heartbreaking. Finally I got into a relationship w/ my coworker months later and suddenly his friends are all like "WHAT A FUCKING WHO-ER!" Um, wtf? I'm sorry I'm not sobbing in my cheerios bc clearly that didn't work for me for months. The new(er) guy came from a similar situation and knows what it's like to not be appreciated. He is such a catch too (and fucking amazing in bed, my friends say this is good karma coming my way). We really make each other happy and it pisses me the fuck off that others branded ME a slut when my husband's the one who did me wrong. (It's a long story, but he did me REALLY fucking wrong).

It's so goddamn absurd how much the ~unnamed slut~ is to blame for everything in a screwed-up marriage. And my SO has been through years of his father going through the midlife crisis that is the young-lady-who-wants-an-older-dude so idk, maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like I have some vague bit of validity here.

JUST MAYBE relationships are more complicated than "dude wants an X lady," yeah?
