tbh i kind of like sims 2 more than sims 3. you can customize stuff more and your sims don't turn out as ugly and generic. the gameplay in sims 3 is super fun though, but admittedly it gets old fast. overall, i think sims 2 has more replay value and you can play a coherent longterm storyline longer without getting bored. plus sims 2 has university!
