CBS has axed Partners, the latest comedy from Will & Grace creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan that focused on the working partnership of one gay man and one heterosexual.
The comedy that starred Michael Urie and David Krumholtz has averaged a 2.4/6 in adults 18-49 and a mere 6.5 million viewers. It routinely ties for third in its time slot in the demo but comes in fourth in viewers.
Though those numbers are comparably low to some of CBS’ other comedies, Partners is certainly one of the highest-rated new show to be axed this season. (NBC’s Animal Practice was averaging a pitiful 1.5 rating while the CBS drama Made in Jersey went out only earning a 1.1 rating). Partners’ ratings are even better than Ben & Kate, which, despite averaging around a 1.8 rating this season, has received a back six order from Fox.

ALSO Barry Corbin (the basketball coach from One Tree Hill) is excellent in it.
I am casually googling cast members right now, and OMG. Janine Turner who played Maggie and looked like this:
now looks like a republican housewife/FOX news presenter:
"On May 21, 2011, Turner began hosting a live two-hour talk show on conservative-oriented talk radio station KLIF (AM) in Dallas.
Turner and her daughter Juliette began an organization called Constituting America aimed at educating Americans about the U.S. Constitution.
[...] As a conservative Republican, in the 2008 election, she campaigned for vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin and expressed her concern for what she perceived as a decidedly liberal bias in the media as a guest on the Fox News Channel show Huckabee on October 25, 2008, and on the CNN show Larry King Live on October 28, 2008. Turner is a frequent contributor to Republican Party candidates and organizations, donating at least $7,000 over the past decade. She spoke at the 2012 Republican National Convention."
The reason she looks like a Republican now is...because she is a Republican.
