She had an accident on set where she slipped on some stairs. She said she was lucky to not be paralyzed from that fal.

I assume during The Avengers the undisclosed location she was sent to for her safety was London, hence filming there? And maybe Darcy went there to study abroad, hence why she's back too. idk, just fangirl speculation.
