IDC if she never even goes gold again. I love her new album & I like that she's owning her new frame & not forcing herself to conform to beauty standards in spite of all the pressure.
I actually really love that she is embracing her frame. She is short and even just 10 pounds can show a lot on her. She isn't fat or stick thin she is average. It would be nice to see some more celebs follow.
I love the new album too, minus a couple of tracks. I kind of hate Circles & Shut Up, because they're both pretty much the same terrible song. But the rest is pretty solid. Fun with some real emotional moments in there.
ikr I seriously don't understand Americans that can ignore the election. How have you never seen a man who is running for the PRESIDENT OF THE COUNTRY YOU LIVE IN?! I am totally for Obama but I still wanted to know what was up with the other candidate. It blows my mind.
It's pretty embarrassing she doesn't know what "Mick" Romney looks like, especially since she was telling everyone to vote last election. Get with it, girl.
I've been crying for the last 20 minutes (about stupid job stuff), and this thank you for your TIIIiiiiIIIIMEEEHEYAAAHHHYOOUUYEAAAHH! made me cackle. So thank you.
Actually I want people's opinions if they care to give it. Just left a job I've been at for 4+ years. Got paid okay, made great friends, but it wasn't what I went to school for. Got offered a job more towards my field, with greater pay, but left the comfort/ease of my old job. I think it's normal to feel sad (I left in August, but have stayed in close contact with people I've left, so I guess not cutting off all together has made it more difficult to leave.)
In addition, I'm not having the best of times with the new people I work with. They're just not the friendliest. It's just been difficult. :( I'm just hoping I didn't make a huge mistake leaving my old job.
weigh out the pro's and con's. Personally it sounds like you made the better choice. You paid for school, I'm sure you needed the money to help pay it off.
Eventually you will have it paid off and get to put the extra pay into work.Unless you already paid off school you get to enjoy it right away.
Friends can be kept like you said, new friends don't need to be made. You will probably end up finding the one person you need when you get comfortable there.
Lastly, the beginning of any new job is a tough transition. You will get used to it and get comfortable in the new environment.
Change can be difficult, but I would give this new job environment more time before the regrets begin. You decided to leave the other job for a reason - so focus on the positive attributes of being able to work in your preferred field. And, if you miss your old coworkers just try to increase time with them on your time off. If you still aren't feeling comfortable after another few months reasess your decision, but not before giving yourself more time to adjust.
I'm sure it wasn't a huge mistake. It takes a while to adapt to new co-workers, especially if you were close with old ones. Based on my experience, ask for their advice and feedback occasionally, and be sure you aren't stepping on anyone's toes. If you have ideas for change within the organization, don't try to push too much at once. It's okay to ask why things are done the way they are. Good luck!
and in addition to what everyone else has said--- remember, you're not *stuck* working at this place necessarily. if you're still miserable there and not getting along with people in a few months... well, not everybody jives together in a work environment and it probably wouldn't hurt to look around.
but definitely give it a little bit of time. holidays are coming up, maybe there will be office parties or something where you can get to know people... make christmas cookies i d k
I still need to buy the cd.
That being said, PLEASE release Let There Be Love and promo the hell out of it. That song is so damn catchy and wonderful

You're only there temporarily until the next better job comes along.
