Another awkward Kristen Stewart interview...




The interviewer asks Kristen to pick her favorite outfit and least favorite out of the recent outfits she has worn. Kristen picks two questions out of the 'Blood Bowl' and they both are breakup related questions.



Extra interview. Interviewer asks Kristen if she would ever be a Bond Girl. The other interviewer tells Kristen she has handled personal questions well during this media tour. Kristen then asks that interviewer what color underwear she is wearing.



Robert Pattinson and the interviewer wear matching suits.

she has two BIG problems with interview questions:

1. she's never confident in her answers. you can see her working in through her head like and trying to figure out how her answer will be received half the time. and because of that, she only half commits to an answer...like before its out of her mouth completely she already looks deflated or some shit. thats why her punchlines for anything NEVER HIT.

2. she cant finish a thought. at all. the interviewers keep waiting for her to elaborate or finish and its just...silence. ALWAYS. then it looks like the hosts are struggling to keep it going.

I think she's incredibly painfully shy and probably suffers from anxiety. Reminds me of friends I had back in high school. Some people never grow out of it.

she's not painfully shy. she says insulting things with absolute confidence all the time. when she is being condescending is when she actually sounds the strongest - its when she has to play nice or appear charming she gets nervous.

yeah I agree. it's hard for me to think of her as someone who is painfully shy when she goes on stages and start to 'make out with herself' or whatever that was..extremely shy people don't say/do stuff like that

I would add that she's also very guarded and doesn't want to share her real thoughts (she was like this even before Rupsten). Like when they ask her what is her favourite so and so, you can see her mind working trying to find an answer that isn't too personal. Which is turn just makes her stutter, look like she doesn't want to be there and come off as not genuine.

I understand why she's like this, but at some point she's gonna have to start opening up more, and I think that when she finally does she's gonna have a much easier time answering questions.

In short, sometimes getting answers from her is like pulling teeth.

pretty much agree. she needs to learn you cant have it both ways; you cant be ~genuine~ and keep people at a distance from who you are at the same time. if she wants to remain guarded about herself, she's gonna have to learn to play the media game and give her stock answers, even if she might not agree with them. IE, take a hint from Lautner and Greene.

She seems like an extremely difficult person. She wants to "stay true to herself" and in order to do that, you have to build a persona - play a part. However, she believes that those who have a persona are "fake" and are in the business for the "wrong reasons." Someone needs to tell her you can't have a cake and eat it.
