She hates him. And not cutesy pretending to be annoyed by a few of his traits but secretly loves everything about him -- she genuinely always seems to hate him (which I can understand, he's often a jerk). She's more prickly in his presence too because she's annoyed and unhappy; he brings out the worse in her.
