paul ryan says that obama won because of "urban" areas. ok.
punishermax 15th-Nov-2012 08:13 pm (UTC)
Ryan's just mad because Biden clowned him like a punk in the debate. He'll never get over being destroyed so bad.
cricketgrl 15th-Nov-2012 09:11 pm (UTC)
Biden dragged the shit out of Ryan. I almost felt so sorry for him afterwards... keyword: almost.
highd 15th-Nov-2012 08:16 pm (UTC)
He is the worst. I can't not see those stupid gym poses of him.
muffledlaugh 15th-Nov-2012 08:17 pm (UTC)
lol didn't obama win Ryan's hometown & homestate?
trixielollipop 15th-Nov-2012 08:22 pm (UTC)
Not to mention Romney's homestate and county AND the state that he was Governor, lmao.

Obama did win in most of the urban areas and Romney won in more of the rural areas - look at the map.
publicfrenemy 15th-Nov-2012 08:54 pm (UTC)
people don't object to the statement because it's untrue. It's totally true. Urban areas tend to lean left.

The objections stem from the dismissive way they talk about urban votes, as if to say, "if you don't count the votes that come from black people and fake urban america and just count the ones from real america, we win."

they truly haven't learned anything. Urban votes are votes. They count the same. Stop talking about urban voters in a dismissive way.
saltireflower 15th-Nov-2012 08:59 pm (UTC)
The accuracy of his statement isn't really the issue. It's the constant condescending, thinly veiled classism and racism from Ryan and the GOP that is absolutely vile and unnecessary.
ilouboutin 15th-Nov-2012 09:08 pm (UTC)
i've seen the map but you're not understanding the point.
mondlerbing 15th-Nov-2012 09:05 pm (UTC)
possibly, but not in the sense Ryan meant. My white urban ass voted for Obama.
silentxstrom 15th-Nov-2012 09:22 pm (UTC)
yeah, then how can he explain how most rural states still voted for Obama.
cickiz 15th-Nov-2012 09:31 pm (UTC)
