i actually thought she was trying in that one. i'll be the first to admit that she's awkward as hell to watch in interviews, but letterman really was being a dick to her.

When I read that other comment, I couldn't help but think, "He doesn't dislike females. He can be just as much of a dick to guys who he doesn't feel should be in the position they're in. Plus, he fucking adores Julia Roberts."
Hollywood is so over-saturated with dumb, talentless celebrities theses day and I've always seen Letterman as one of the few interviews out there who just isn't having it. When he gets real talent/real personality on his show, you can see the difference in him.
idk, there was that time he pulled out the photo of Emma Watson's wardrobe malfunction that was clearly not planned. Her acting talent is debatable, but he has no reason to dislike her and she does not have the sort of image where she deserves that, especially since the dress thing was 100% not her fault. He uncomfortably hit on Charlize Theron the last time I saw her on there, he was totally creepy towards Blake Lively.
I expect him to go after someone like Kristin or Paris Hilton, but he does it for a LOT of women.
I dont think so - its a hosts job to be affable, likable and lead the conversation in an entertaining area. the host should make the guests feel comfortable.
I really dont like Kstew, but she obviously struggles at these things (no excuse for it after so long, but she is obviously impaired)...Letterman is an out right ASSHOLE to a good portion of his guests, and is extremely patronizing especially toward his female guests. he's an dick, plain and simple - on and off his show. I would never go on his POS show if I was a celeb. he's basically outright mean to her when she's on. its honestly ridiculous. I dont like her as a celeb at all, but I would never be mean to her if she was sitting on my fucking couch - I dont know her. a tv host cant give the same courtesty? damn.

she gives herself enough rope to hang herself with, nobody has to go out of their way to be an asshole to her on their own show when she isnt saying anything especially horrendous or anything. she's awkward and completely up her own ass, yes...but she's the GUEST and he's the HOST. I just hate Letterman, I really do. I felt bad for her here and I still do.
