MAN, I'm smiling like a mad man because this episode was so good. I seriously think Cas raised his power level (DBZ reference) and isn't just a Seraph anymore..Archangel or Metathon? Also, MAN I think I hate Angels more than demons! Why can't they leave Cas alone man?! Also, Chuck isn't dead...I refuse to believe...
If that was seriously their way of wrapping up the ridiculously unfinished Chuck storyline, I am gonna punch someone. So lame. I know the S5 finale was supposed to be the series finale once upon a time--and THE APOCALYPSE does admittedly make sense as a final episode--but the show's gone on & they seriously need to explain that shit. But better.
Seriously! Atleast let us know what happened to him! I think they're trying to fix the up the prophet plothole mess b/c when Kevin was introduced I was like, "What about Chuck?" I think him being mentioned is they're way of wrapping it up....
I have watched way too much television to accept "he's probably dead" at face value, but it's pretty worrisome that they haven't mentioned him in aaaaaaaages. Sam asking about how he & Kevin can both be prophets felt kinda retcon-y to me. Then again, the Trickster being Gabriel was totally recton, and that was awesome. So we'll see.
I feel like mentioning him tonight has to have a point. All the prophet talk since the end of last season and all the times they should have been like, "Hey, we should see if Chuck knows anything" and DIDN'T....Mentioning him now has to mean something.
I'm jumping on the Metatron theory now. I like it more. It's got more mystery than him just being God...
