Stephanie Bongiovi, Jon Bon Jovi's daughter, was arrested early Wednesday and is facing drug charges after a suspected heroin overdose in her upstate New York college dorm room.
Authorities were called to Hamilton College just before 2 a.m. on a report that a woman had possibly overdosed and was unresponsive, police told the Utica Observer-Dispatch.
After a small quantity of heroin was found by police on the scene, a search warrant was executed and heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found, police told the newspaper.
Bongiovi, who is 19 and Bon Jovi's eldest child and the only daughter of four children, was arrested, released and ordered to return to court at a later date. She was recovering at an unnamed hospital and was expected to be released Wednesday, police told People magazine.
She and fellow Hamilton student Ian Grant, 21, who was also arrested, face misdemeanor charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Bongiovi was also charged with possession of marijuana and criminally using drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

I've seen what it can do to a person. Someone could offer me super-comfortable financial security for the rest of my life, in exchange for trying it, and I STILL wouldnt touch that shit.
To be perfectly honest, if it was a choice between heroin and methamphetamine, I'd rather my kid was on heroin. Of course I'd rather they were not on ANY such drug because they are all very bad for you, but at least heroin mostly leads to nodding out and drooling on yourself, not violent outbursts. It's the addiction that makes heroin the problem, not the effects of the stone.
Are you more likely to overdose on heroin than methamphetamines? They talk about heroin overdoses way more than any other drug.
