Boyband ONE DIRECTION recruited JOHNNY DEPP as their sixth member over the weekend (10-11Nov12) after they were invited to visit the Hollywood star and his superfan daughter.
The actor reached out to the pop group while they were in Los Angeles and asked them to come to his house to meet his daughter Lily-Rose, who is a huge fan of the band.
The young stars were thrilled when they got the chance to see the keen musician's home studio and have a jamming session with him.
A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "Johnny found out One Direction were in town and, after making a few calls, they came round to his studio.
"He brought out his piano and guitars for the boys to test and they had a little jam session.
"Lily-Rose just watched with her blushing mates while her dad temporarily joined the world's biggest boyband."
Photos of the boys posing with Depp and his daughter have since appeared online.
